New hardback edition and the Command Centre.. [click on page to expand ]
This week saw the arrival of the hardback edition of The Case of The Missing Left Feet, complete with glossy cover and ribbon page marker. For those who are interested it is available from my contact page on this site. Generally it has been well received and I get great satisfaction from people enjoying the book in the same way I do from reading other authors work. I am still working away on The West 48th Street Cargo and hope to publish before Christmas. although the Covid-19 situation may well have its say in that being possible. I have found the subject matter quite upsetting and often at odds with myself in wanting to describe some of the scenes that are essential to fully explain what these seekers of new lives endure on their journey to what they think will be their new found freedom.
On a lighter note i have included a picture of my section of our joint study where the torment is perpetrated and the gut wrenching takes place. It is usually populated with one or both of the dogs at my feet [ or lap] asleep and if you are the owner of dogs you will also be aware of their capacity to enhance the aroma in the room with exhaust gases. If you look closely you will see in the picture that I have a strategically placed room spray on the desk to alleviate the worst gassing.
